Pool Schedule
Admission fees are per person (ages 1 & older)/per session.
This is a gate admission and any individual who enters the
facility is required to purchase and present a season pass
or pay the daily fee.
Daily $9 or season pass
Resident discount card &6 w/valid pass
Ridgeland Common evening $6 (after 5pm)
Lap Swim $4 Lap Swim Pass
Resident Discount Card
Swim occasionally
but don't want to pay for a season pass? Purchase this card
and present it to the cashier for any family or public swimming
session. This card, which costs $14, entitles you to a discounted
admission fee of $5 PER SESSION. Individuals who do not have
a yellow Discount Pass need to stop by Ridgeland Common to
have a picture taken. Proof of residency with two forms of
ID will be required.
Pool Pass Information
Save money and avoid paying the daily admission fee by purchasing
a season pool pass valid at both Ridgeland Common and Rehm
Pools. Good for all family and public swimming sessions, a
full season pass gives you unlimited visits to the pool. Oak
Park residents wishing to take advantage of discounted resident
rates must provide two forms of ID with your Oak Park address
when registering. Driver’s license, voter registration,
utility bill, library card, school ID, or a personal check
with your address are all acceptable.

Polar Bear Rates
Polar Bear Pool Pass
Sale:
Look for the Polar Bear Pool Pass this winter! Buy your pool pass in advance of the season, and Oak Park residents receive
a discount of approximately 20% while non-residents enjoy a 15% discount. Not
only will you save money but you’ll avoid the long lines and seasonal
crowds in the summer.
Polar Bear Combination Pool and Rink Passes
A discounted combination pool and rink pass will be available to Oak Park residents
during the Polar Bear Pool Pass Sale this coming winter. Individuals who purchase their rink pass
for the next skating season, will receive approximately 10% off the regular
prices. Rink passes are valid for the October through February rink season.
Lap Swim Passes
This pass gives you unlimited access to
all lap swim sessions without having to pay the daily gate
fee. Standard pool passes are not good for lap swim. When
you purchase a pool pass in combination with your lap swim
pass, you can enjoy all of the benefits the pools have to
offer while receiving a $3 discount on the lap swim pass.
Passes for Babysitters or Child Care Providers
If your child care provider lives
in Oak Park but not at your residence, a resident individual
pool pass can be purchased. If your child care provider lives
at your residence, you can add him/her to your household if
you prove residency at your address. If your child care provider
is a non-resident, you must purchase a non-resident individual
pass or pay the $8 admission fee.
Resident Discount Passes - Oak Park Residents Only
Guest Passes may only be purchased by Oak Park residents with
current pool passes. You may purchase 4 guest passes for $20.
There is a limit of 12 passes per household.

Extreme Weather
The pool may close during a swim session due to extreme weather,
i.e.., lightning, thunder, hail, or tornado watches or
warnings. When the pool closes due to any of these factors,
it will remain closed for the entire session.
Cool Temperatures
If the air temperature is 68 degrees at the beginning of an
evening session, only one of the Oak Park pools will open.
Ridgeland Common will open on Tuesday and Thursday. Rehm Pool
will open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
If the air temperature drops below 68 degrees, the pool will
close.
If the air temperature is 68 degrees at the beginning of
a day session or falls to this temperature during the session,
management reserves the right to close the pool(s) depending
on all weather conditions.
Basic Pool Rules
(Detailed rules are posted at the pools)
- Showers are required before entering the pool.
- Non potty-trained children must wear swim diapers, plastic
pants, and swimsuit in the water.
- Understand that lifeguards are on duty to enforce rules
and respond to emergencies, not to supervise children. Parents
are responsible for supervising their children.
- Recreational floatation devices (i.e. water wings, rings,
kickboards, rafts, and inflatable animals) are allowed in
the main pool during Family Swim hours only. Flotation devices
are limited to 3” x 5” x 2’. Small toys
and floats are allowed in the Wading Pool at all times.
- Lined swimsuits are required. Clothing such as cutoffs,
workout clothing, leotards, etc. are not allowed in the
pools.
- As of January 1, 2003, the Park District of Oak Park has
instituted a non-smoking policy in all parks and facilities.
This policy will also apply to the sundecks at the pools.
The Park District of Oak Park offers a variety of morning
and evening learn to swim classes for all ages and abilities during
the summer.

Registration for the Learn to Swim Academy
When
registering please include a first and second choice class.
If we are unable to accommodate you in your first or second
choice class, you will be placed on a waiting list. If a space
does not become available, a full refund will be issued.
POOL PASS REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.

Lifeguards, swim instructors, cashiers and more are needed to
work at the Park District pools. Job application forms are available
under employment
opportunities on this web site. Lifeguard and swim instructor
training and certification will be offered to those individuals
who apply and are hired for the pool season. For more information
