Scented Plant Sale

for "urban potager" gardens — edible landscapes!
This event features vegetables and ornamental plants especially
suited for small urban and container gardens. Don't miss
this chance to purchase quality herbs and bedding plants
and perennials cultivated at the Conservatory. More info

Spring Perennial Plant & Seedling
Exchange
Saturday, May 10
Join other gardeners
to share favorite plants with the Friends of Oak Park Conservatory
sponsored annual plant exchange. Bring perennials and seedlings
to the rear of the Conservatory off the alley. The plants
should be individually wrapped or in a pot and labeled by
the type and color, if possible.
Drop off time:
10:00am - Noon
Swap Time: 12:30-2:00pm
Annual Oak Park & River
Forest Garden Walk
Saturday, June 28
9:30am-3:30pm
Eight private gardens in Oak Park and
River Forest will be on display. Garden
guides must be picked up at the Oak Park Conservatory
at 615 Garfield Street on the day of the walk. Tickets are
available in advance for $15 at the Oak Park Conservatory
and at the Oak Park Visitors Center, 158 North
Forest Avenue. Tickets are $18 the day of the walk and
can be purchased at the Oak Park Conservatory, where
the walk begins. The Garden Walk will be held rain or
shine. No ticket refunds will be given.
This annual event is sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory and
the Garden Club of Oak Park and River Forest. A variety of lovely gardens will
feature stunning water features, innovative vegetable gardens, creative container
garden combinations and much more. Tickets will be sold at the Oak Park Conservatory,
the Oak Park Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and various other venues throughout

scavenger hunt in the Conservatory. Lynn Bement and her
worms and Hody Coyote will be performing at 1:00pm and
3:00pm.

Get a jump on springtime at a free and
fun family event sponsored by FOPCON. Educational
kids' activities will include hands-on
activities that relate to the wonderful
natural world of plants.
