A STANDOUT COURSE
The 34th Annual Frank Lloyd Wright Races feature flat, fast & scenic routes through historic Oak Park, Illinois for all three of our races - the 5K Run/Walk, the 10K Run, and the Youth Mile for ages 7-14. Both the 5K & 10K routes are USA Track and Field Certified (5K #IL-92026-JW and 10K #IL-04119-JW). The 10K Course passes eight Frank Lloyd Wright-designed homes, including the Home & Studio.

WHERE & WHEN
All events are on Sunday, October 24 and start just east of Oak Park River Forest High School at Scoville and Ontario Streets, and finish on Scoville in front of the school.

ENTRY FEES
Note that prices increase by $10 per race for any entries received after 11:59pm on Friday, October 8, 2010.
CARA Members can get a discount of $4 off the race entry fee through October 22 when you provide your valid CARA number.

You must have a Household ID number/User Name & Password to register online for the Frank Lloyd Wright Races. There are no additional fees for online registration. If you registered for the Races in 2009, or are a current Park District user, you are already set up in our system and can register online! Don't know your username/password? Race day registration (if available) will begin at 6:00am on Sunday, October 24 at the Oak Park-River Forest High School Fieldhouse, 201 N. Scoville in Oak Park. Entry cut-off is 15 minutes prior to start of each event. |

NEW FOR 2010 - CHRONOTRACK B-TAG TIMING (NO 5K WALK B-TAGS)
The 34th Annual Frank Lloyd Wright Races are using the brand new B-Tag timing system, a disposable tag that stays mounted on the runner’s bib. The race bib and B-Tag will be distributed at packet pickup. The 5K Walk is not timed, so no B-Tags will be issued to walkers. |

PACKET PICKUP
Shirt sizes are not guaranteed - pick up your packet early to ensure you get your preferred size. Packet pickup begins the week before the race at the Park District’s Hedges Administrative Center at 218 Madison in Oak Park.

AGE DIVISIONS & AWARDS
Award ceremonies are staggered, with 5K awards first, Youth Mile awards second, and 10k awards last. Results will be posted inside the Fieldhouse on the South wall when they become available. Results will also be posted online at cararuns.org and at oakpark.com. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place (male & female) for 5K and10K overall, 5K and 10K age divisions, and Youth Mile age divisions. Overall adult finishers (1-3rd, male & female) receive gift certificates for Saucony products from The Competitive Foot.

RACE DAY NOTES:
- Gear Check opens at 7:00am inside the OPRF High School Fieldhouse.
- Post-Race Pancake Breakfast for participants only - additional entries may be purchased inside the Fieldhouse for $5 each.
- Strollers are allowed at the back of the pack of runners (unless participating in walk, then should line up with walkers). Dogs are not allowed unless serving in a service animal capacity.
- Races are limited 2,500 participants and will close early if they reach capacity. Therefore there may be no race-day registration. Please visit www.flwraces.com for updates.
- Activities inside the Fieldhouse will include a pre-race warm-up by Athletico, the Wedneday Journal Raffle, post-race evaluation survey & raffle, and award ceremonies as results become available.
- Activities outside will include the Radio Disney Road Crew from 8:30-9:30am and the Health & Fun Fair on Scoville Ave.

PARKING IN OAK PARK
No parking along race route. Check back as the race date nears for more suggestions on parking. Public transportation is strongly recommended. |
