Current Capital Improvement Projects

Barrie Center
Barrie Center is slated for renovation in fall 2007 to improve accessibility, create a customer friendly environment, provide functional and secure staff office areas and improve the overall condition of this recreation center. Due to these improvements, it is projected that Barrie Center will be closed from approximately mid-November through early January. The Park District is currently making necessary adjustments to fall program offerings in order to accommodate this construction. Upon project completion, a full-time program supervisor will be located at this facility as part of the District’s effort to enhance program offerings and improve customer service.
