Sandy Lentz, President of the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory, presents a check in the amount of $18,000 to the Park Board President Mark Gartland. The funds were used towards the purchase of a back-up generator for the Conservatory. These grant monies were also used to purchase a movable shade cloth for the East Growing House and flagpole banners which welcome visitors to the Conservatory along Garfield Street.
