Memorial Trust Fund


Looking for a unique way to commemorate a birth, celebrate a special occasion, or remember a friend or loved one? You can remember these special people or mark these distinctive events by purchasing a personalized plaque at the base of a tree, park bench or other park amenity at one of the many Park District park sites. With many park renovation projects currently underway or in the planning stages, there are a wide variety of landscape amenities and locations from which to choose.

This program is overseen by the Memorial Trust Committee. Since the Committee was founded nearly 40 years ago, over 500 plaques honoring loved ones and special events have been placed throughout the park system. For plaque installation in the summer, orders are due by March 1. Fall placement orders are due July 1.
