Start Times & Location
Course Map
All races start and finish at Oak Park & River Forest High School, 201 N. Scoville, Lake & Scoville, Oak Park, IL.
The 5K & 10K races are USA Track & Field Certified (5K #IL-92026-IW and 10K #IL-04119-JW)
and are both CARA Registered.
5K Run/Walk: 8am
10K Run: 8:45am
Youth Mile: 9am

Directions to the Races
Driving: Located approx. 8 miles west of the Chicago Loop. Take Interstate 290 to Austin exit. Turn north on Austin. After about 1 mile, turn west on Lake St. Oak Park River Forest High School is located at 201 N. Scoville Avenue. Parking info below.
Public Transportation: The “L” Green Line Ridgeland stop is closest to the race. When exiting from the “L,” go north on Ridgeland to Lake Street, and head west for two blocks. The High School is at 201 N. Scoville, just north of Lake Street.

Parking in Oak Park
No parking along the race route. Free parking is available in the parking structure at Lake & Scoville streets; however, this location usually fills by 6am. To avoid the race route, we suggest parking south of Lake Street. Various metered spots are available along North Blvd and other locations. Residential streets adjacent to the race route are okay to park along, but please pay attention to village parking signs! Public transportation is strongly recommended.

5K Run & 10K Run & Youth Mile are ChampionChip Timed!
(No 5K Walk Chips)
ChampionChips are used to track runners’ times in both the 5K Run and the 10K Run, as well as the Youth Mile. Chips will be distributed to registered runners at packet pickup. If you have your own Chip please supply the chip number so we may enter it in the database for proper scoring. All other chips must be returned at the finish line.
Walkers will not be timed, so no chips will be given to walkers.

Awards
Award ceremonies are staggered, with 5K awards at 9:45am, Youth Mile awards at 1:150am, and 10k awards at 10:45am. Race results will be posted online at chicagoaa.com, windycitysports.com, and wednesdayjournalonline.com.
Awards are given for:
5K overall: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
5K age divisions: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place (male & female)
10K overall: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
10K age divisions: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place (male & female)
Youth Mile age divisions: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place (male & female
No awards are given for walkers. Walkers are not timed.

Ways to Register for the 2008 FLW Races

ONLINE REGISTRATION
Online registration is offered through Weby, the Park District's registration system!
You must have a Household ID number/User Name & Password to register online for the Frank Lloyd Wright Races. There are no additional fees for online registration. Codes for each race are listed above.
You can also find the codes in the Weby system by doing a search for "FLW Races."
Below are details on how to access Weby.

 
If you registered for the FLW Races in 2007 (or any other Park District of Oak Park program since then), you have been assigned a Household ID number/User name & password in our Weby online registration system. If you are unsure of your login information, please call the Hedges Administrative Center Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm at 708/383-0002 or email us at info@oakparkparks.com.
 
 
If you did not participate in the 2007 FLW Races, and have not participated in a Park District of Oak Park program in the past two years, click here sign up for a Weby Account.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN ON SITE AT 6AM. CUT-OFF WILL BE 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO EACH EVENT.
PARTICIPANTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER PRIOR TO RACE DAY TO ENSURE PARTICIPATION.
